Hi and Help!

Hi everyone

I work in IT and am keen to learn more about Web Design.

I am looking for some articles/journals/papers by authors on the limitations of web design/sites/usuability issues for those less advantaged people and and/or disabled users - can anyone point me in the right direction or provide me with any URL's?

Thanking you in advance.

Hi there, welcome to the foums.

Some (X)HTML resources
Some CSS Based Layout Resources
Roger Johansson's (awesome!) Blog (webstandards, accessibility and usability)
A List Apart (online publication on all things web design)

Enjoy!

Pete.

Re: Hi and Help!

Hello and welcome fellow Kent person There are a few of us from Kent on here, so you should feel right at home!

I know you didn't mention books, but there's an excellent book I would recommend: Building Accessible Websites by J. Clark. A lot of writing on accessibility can be a bit dry, but he writes with a touch of humour so it's an enjoyable read as a book, and he really makes you look at things in a different way.

Anyway, enough of the book review! Enjoy the forumz!
