Hi Ya, Brad. Always nice to see new brave souls here. There are lots of very skilled designers here so you can get all the help you need. Couple things though....no one here likes front page... you are going to hear hand code HTML and CSS....just wanted to warn you. Enjoy your stay.

Wow, you certainly have been out of the game for awhile. Using tables, and image maps for simple links, also no color! Glad to have you on with us, we will have you going in no time....oh yeah, Welcome to Webforumz!

Re: 1st Timer Here, Back in the game

Okay, I understand. I am pretty outdated. How about Dreamweaver? Would that be a more professional choice. I also understand hand coding everything. Geez, it's been a while since I sat down with some meat. Did you mean notepad? So tables aren't the way to go better than frames though right? Oh wait hold on a second, maybe not. I also notice that. See, I am in a money stretch right now and I lost my lisence like 2 years ago. So my other hobbies a kinda down the drain.

What do you suggest I do, just practice with HTML. What about 1st page? Is that a good one. I need to learn all this new stuff. What is it DHTML? For layouts and stuff. I think I kinda remember a little basic CSS. I am image ready 7.0 is that what you guys are using? One thing that still confuses me is CGI script. Oh yeah, I dont wanna hear anything about geocities. They are the best server for hosting. better than google.com, especially free

Okay, I just pulling your leg. Hope you gotta kick out of that one.

So feel free to update me a little more.

Thanks for your replies.

Hey there, i'm new myself. Both to the forums and coding (html and CSS). This place seems pretty friendly and helpful so you should do just fine here .

Hey Brad ... welcome to the forumz!

Dreamweaver is fine ... just stick to the Code View

Check out the articles and the Beginner's Resources section ... lots of useful info in there already!

Hi Brad welcome here.

Stay away from Front page. Why
Because, it is evil.

and stay away from Tables.
