What would you do with this website

I have a good friend that got deployed to japan. He is in the miltary. Well he handed his company to me. Sales are mostly a word of mouth. But the shoping cart and the web site are so horable that I am almost tempted just to take it down till I come up with an alternative, since Its mine now. My friend is not very computer savy but people love his product.

Anyone know a good shoping cart thats resonable, I am not stuck to using free stuff since this company is making money. Good place for a templetes for a into page, and maybe some pages of prodect specs for SEO.

Its ugly.

At the moment its using oscommerce, now that is one of if not the most powerful shopping cart there is.
The function is there it just doesnt look good, the good thing is you can make it look like anything you want. Do a new layout from scratch and start inserting the functions out of the index.php file into your new layout.

I did not know if Oscommerce was any good or not. I had started messing with CubeCart which is one of the 6 carts already installed :\ From what I can tell there is 6.
I will go ahead and do what you sujested.
Thanks for telling me about the functions in index.php I probley would not realized to do that.

If you are only limiting yourself to PHP then Oscommerce is a good choice.

If you were prepared to look at ASP carts, then I can suggest one of the best around.

The host is free, because they are r/l friends and he host will do anything that is asked. But its a linux server. So I don't think I will be moving to one that suports asp. which would make life easer for me since I know some basics in asp.
