new to web design
Hello web gurus. I have 0 experience except for a bit I have read tonight. I am wanting to make a website to promote my Drum teaching business, maybe add samples from my band, maybe have a flash comic strip, add some of my drawings, and possibly a forum. LOL I know, what am I getting myself into! I am not in a hurry and love tech and creativity.
I bought Macromedia Studio MX awhile back to do flash animation but was sidetracked by band recording. I have no programming skills and I'm not looking into going pro in the web design field, at least not at this point. Just learning to walk before learning to fly. I believe Studio MX has all I need to make a website (Flash MX 6, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Freehand, Coldfusion) is this correct? Otherwise what else would I need? Should I upgrade to Studio MX 8? I have put alot of money into recording and dont want to spend anymore money, heh. I also have Adobe Photoshop and Adobe elements.
Anyway I'm happy to have found this site of skilled web gurus and look forward to any help in what seems to be a fun journey in learning web design. Any advice is highly welcome, and of course criticism, like "you want to do what with 0 exoerience!?" lol. I will be taking baby steps, promise.
