Hello everyone
i feel quite smug about the idea of associating myself with a gallaxy of able individuals who share my intrests which is mostly web design. i have completed a web design course but cant get work due to lack of experience, come to think of it employers nowadays want prospects with years of experience which does not allow people like myself the slightest chance at all, i work as a telemarketing co-ordinator and earn a meagre monthly wage. i am highly fascinated by web design and development but my enthusiasm seems to dwindle due to the dim prospects of getting a job. i have designed two web sites as part of my portfolio and will continue to design more, all i need is that encouragement and i will go far in this industry this message is for all my new made friends at webforumz, and i am hoping to get responses from it. best regards Gerald

Hi Gerald,
Don't be disheartened by the chicken and the egg mentality of the industry. There are plently of things you can do to battle this... Contact local charities or small firms who would like a site done for free (yes free).... with persistance, you should be able to find 3 of these. Once done, dusted and live, ask them for testimonials! With some thought, you can overcome this sticky point you're at and move on. Good luck and welcome to webforumz!
