Hi guys,
Just found this place while browsing the net and joined up. I self taught myself webdesign from the age of 12, started on some of the free hosting sites making up some small webpages.
I then did my uncles website for his company, and last year I also did one for a major internation toy fair which also incorporated a forum and chat rooms into it. I am good with html and can produce some stunning looking pieces in dreamweaver but thats about all I can do really. Im pretty good with making graphics for sites aswell.
I hope to get into some good discussions on here about web design and hope to make some friends to talk to.

Welcome, David, You have come to the right place to learn more....Before any one else asks...you do use DW in code view? Hope the answer is yes...otherwise...just kidding. Next is you haven't started is CSS. Check some of the other posts and you will understand.

Dreamweaver is a very primitive program for coding. There are a lot more superior programs out there

I have dabbled with CSS but not really done much with it, I go mainly for simple effective websites that look interesting and look more advanced than they are....lol
I use DW in both design and code view, as you cannot fix bugs with a site in design view

When your ready, just pop it up in the critique forum...lots of experienced designers who will give you an honest review and some options if you need to make changes....they are a great bunch of people...enjoy
