I know... but everything is going wrong, they keep on changing low level stuffs in their player and I'm loosing so much time in reverse engineering.

Welcome
 I love Apple (I'm typing exceedingly happily on my MacBook Pro), Adobe (Both Photoshop CS3 and Illustrator CS3 are open right now), and I have no opinion about the Flash Player 9. Works well for me, though.

Hello, gilemon. You have shot down most of the favorites here. However, not to worry...The mac owners for the most part just cuddle their macs and let the machines whisper sweet nothings in their ears. I am not fond of adobe myself and well, one of my buds here is a flash expert and he makes it sounds fun...so I am open on feeling either way. In any case, glad you are here and enjoy!!

Most of the programs on my computer are open source. Call me cheap, but I prefer them to brand names. I only had a adobe because that's what's what is used most.

Don’t take me wrong, flash is cool but I don’t like this new flash player (9,0,45,0) full of proprietary stuffs that Adobe doesn’t even deign to document properly (mp3 streams, socket policy…).
It’s no being cheap to use Open Source stuffs. That’s just being clever. What if Adobe suddenly starts changing some more low level functions, how can we follow them? ain’t Macromedia anymore… They hold us at their mercy! And Apple, well, somehow friends always :whip: me to buy their hardware... for fonts I guess...
