Hello hello

Hello, this is Zero One, first time posting, not much of an HTML editing kinda guy yet but I'm learning, well, I started yesterday, but to me I'm getting somewhere. Roughly four months ago, me, Les, and Blackfrog had finally worked the kinks out of our server. It's been running since and until now I haven't contributed anything to the site. Now that I can do something with this site, I have been spending most of my time with my website within the server. Nothing to big, but I've started to run into problems, not having any HTML experience, my site looks like crap, ok by my standards, but crap nontheless. If you want to check it out, the server is omega.kicks-ass.org. There's forums and news and stuff, and my site within the server is omega.kicks-ass.org/zeroone. I've been having trouble getting my comments to work. It goes to the specified file but it doesn't save the text. Solutions/suggestions appreciated.

First off welcome to the forums

Now onto your problem. In order to create a comments system the data must be sent to a database or a text file on your server. I see you have linked the form to an asp page which does nothing :P

If you dont know HTML then adding a news/comments system in ASP is too advanced for you.
I would start by reading some HTML tutorials then move onto ASP when your ready.

Me again

The only tutorial I was able to find talked about using the asp file format, i've tried putting it to a .doc file too. Nothing worked, and it shows the file after too, which I didn't really want , I was hoping to log it for personal viewing, do you happen to know any credible tutorial sites? Oh, what did you think of my site, besides I have to get a proper header, and work on it, a lot.
