first post request for some guidance please

have just joined the forum and would be very grateful of any advice and guidance you can give.

my wife and i are opening our new business at the end of october and as such would like to get a website going
we have purchased both the .com and .co.uk domain names and would like to know what to do now

Now you need to get your site online.
Dreamweaver is really what you need, but as you are new if you have Frontpage lying on ur hard drive you can use that. You will also need an online host this is usually paid for per month/year or if you have quite a bit of knowledge you can self host.

If you are really planning on making your business professional i would consider getting a webdesignt to do your site as it will take you a long time to learn everything.

yes..and also someone who can maintain your site...if you dont want to do it. updates are pretty important

we want to keep the whole process as simple as possible and as cost effective as possible.
i have frontpage and have tried playing a little with it.
do you have particular reccomendations for hosting for a small business.
we would also like e mails at our domain name etc
