Re: Greetings!

Welcome James and Susan. If you would like, you can post your site in the Critique section. It is not as bad as it sounds. We have many levels of experience here and everyone gets a chance to look at your work. response will be fair but honest. The goal is to make sure our members put up the best site they can regardless of experience level. Hope to see your work soon.

Question Re: Greetings!

First off, thanks for the warm welcome! It's nice to see another site that's open and friendly towards ne members .

Ok...

I've dug around a bit and run some searches but I've been unable to come up with details about the subscriber forums and how they work. There's links in both Rob's announcement and in the information for the forums that are broken.

Our main goal is to get some help with SEO and design optimization for our site. Rather than posting in the free critique forum then paying to hide the thread, the impression I'm getting is that we'd probably just rather subscribe and work through the 2 subscriber forums... But it seems that that may not be possible now? Has the focus shifted to hidden threads in the open critique forum? Is the subscription simply the "Plus" member status mentioned in the relevant announcement? In any case, the details seem to be hard to find and a bit confusing, any information/clarification would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help...

James and Susan

Re: Greetings!

The subscriber forums you are referring to have been closed, and probably will not be opened again. We are in the process of opening a Business Section of the website, which will have an SEO area. This area will be free!

But it looks like it might be a few weeks until that section is opened to the public. I would recommend just doing a website critique, and hiding it from the public! Then asking everyone about your SEO, and what you should change…etc. Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any more problems or questions!
