Hi! I am a newbie and very excited to be here!

Hi,

I am a newbie to designing websites and am very excited to have a chance to learn. While a newbie to designing I have worked with computers since 1981, and have done some programming, other apps and hardware work.

I am working for a Christian relief and development organization in China. I have found that I need a good way to communicate with people back home and have realized that a wpage is exactly what I need. I am using Frontpage now but have found a couple of tutorials on html that i will begin studying.

I have big plans for my website...I want to ultimately include the following:

- local time and temp
- webcam shots, if nothing else, of my really nice aquarium
- streaming audio messages from me
- streaming video
- a guestbook
- pictures
- information, i.e. text, map, pictures, about China
- recipes
- favorite links
- have my own webmail account for people that sponsor me
- have a chat room



I have a P2 that I would ultimately like to set up as a server to learn how to do this.

Sounds crazy? You are probably right...but...well, maybe...just maybe...... heheheheheh.....hehehehehehehe.....heheheheheh...
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...maybe I am!
