well...i just joined...and i thought i'd introduce myself. ok so, about me...
i have a website for my own personal enjoyment...i like my website...but i don't know if other people like my website...i've been trying for a really long time to make a guestbook, but i taught myself pretty much every thing i know (which isn't much) about the
html and
css i use in my website...i'm really proud of my website though because i made it all from scratch...yes...it all started on an empty notepad on my computer. ^_^ anyways, so there you go. you should definitely visit my website.

ok, my goals for my website are always changing.. because i'm always redoing it. i have a habit of changing things a lot. i rearrange my room almost every month...and completely wipe and redo my website maybe every 6 months to a year...just because i feel it needs to be redone. but this set up seems to be pretty good..ok so, right now, the goals that i've had for a long time are:
1. guestbook
2. forum and/or chat
3. counter
4. (this one is just a dream) a complete online community for artists and writers alike...lol.
ok so there you have it. what else...i like turtles, reading, writing (books and comics), learning foreign languages, drawing, cats, video games, taking on big challenges...and other things. i don't play very many sports but the three sports i really enjoy when i get the chance to play them are baseball, hockey, and bowling. yippee. those are about the only sports i enjoy. i hate volleyball..i hate basketball...i'm no good at skateboarding and i'm too much of a wimp to take rollerblading to the next level.
what i could definitely use help with from this excellent forum is...a guestbook. i don't care how it's done, i just want it to match my website, be clean when it's finished, and i want everyone who visits my website to be able to see what others have signed. oh and i don't want any stupid advertisements! so i can't just use those copy and paste ones...the other things...the forum, it's not so important. the counter...eh. but the guestbook...it's like the gold at the end of the rainbow, the long sought after craving...that i just can't reach with my very weak talents.
ok, i know how to use basic
html, basic
css, a VERY little
php (i worked at a computer lab at my school and had to work with it), i worked with
xml a while ago and i'd probly remember it vaguely if i had to work with it again, but i couldn't remember it off the top of my head.
ok, if you'd like to help me make a guestbook that will utilize my
css that i already have made for my website (which of course i can show you) and
html...i'm going to post a topic where it belongs. so look for tell-tale heart and guestbook!! ^_^
