Self taught Simi-n00b

Hi

I'm mike I am interested in web design and currently thus far am self taught.. so please excuse me if I dont completely understand you if you try and help me.. I'm not up on the web design tech speak. An image place holder to me is called an image thingy..lol

I love to let my imagination go wild when designing sites but my lack of ample knowledge causes me to not get built what I want to build.

I am currently working on about 5 different long term web design projects.. one of which are for the clan I play in with a few friends online. I have had about 2 - 3 years experience with dreamweaver, my prefered editor, having started out on frontpage.

I have a great interest in flash and php and one day would like to be able to code my own sites from scratch with ease and within an ample time frame. So far my lack of knowledge causes me to half way through a site build, have to stop and google for answers to problems i have discoverd. But hey thats the learning curve and I wouldnt have it any other way..
