Hello from an old dog learning new tricks
I've been in commercial offset printing (Lithography) for over 35 years, and have found my title being changed from Stripper to Desktop Publisher and now to Manager, Digital Pre-press. My company was recently sold to an individual who is very tech oriented and is anxious to get the company out of the '70s and up to snuff in the e-commerce industry.
As a part of this move I am now wearing the title Manager-Digital Pre-Media/IT  since I also am the one who will be handling not only DTP production, Web development, but installing and managing the company network. So I feel that by joining this little family of geniuses, I may learn something :wink: PS, I like a good 12 year old scotch

...we just purchased a huge £6000 printer, digital is so much better and faster and easier! im sure you find that out.
