haha!
i know the basics of HTML and i started to learn flash- so i know a bit.

does XML relate to HTML? XML is a way of transferring data isnt it?

XML is structured similarly to HTML in the sense that it uses tags. The common example for a differences is that <table> can mean a kitchen table, a website table, a coffee table or a gambling table. No tags have a specific meaning. You are right in saying XML is used in the field of data. I personally use it most in with Ajax, but it is also very useful in open-ended applications.
