hello from NC

Hello from NC.

I am a 32 year old sophomore student with six credit hours (nine if you count this semester)left in having my Internet Technologies associate's degree.

Some of my skills are as follows: ACT, Access, Dreamweaver, Excel, Freelance Graphics, Image Ready (7.0 and CS)Lotus 123, Lotus Notes, Outlook, Photoshop 7.0 and CS), Power Point, and Word Pro. I know that I have listed some administrative software skills on here as well but I wanted to list my other skills to make up for the programming languages I am getting better with in one of my classes I have now.

If anybody is from Florida here, I would love to chat with you because it is my hope to move there after I graduate.

Most of my websites I am trying to improve. Two examples of my work are as follows:

http://www.rebecca-brown.com/chairsandall.htm

and http://www.rebecca-brown.com/week5.htm

Look for to talking with you guys (& gals).

Rebecca

Welcome Rebecca!

However, please forgive the fact that I'm English and don't know what Sophomore or 'credit hours' mean!
I have heard Sophomore before though... Please enlighten me, lol.

Thank you Catalyst

Sirkent [xx(],
Credit hours are how the college tallies or determines what it takes to get your degree. One class is usually equal to three credit hours. I have six classes (nine if you include this semester)left and therefore 18 credit hours left. I see that you are a student too.

Well, that's interesting as we simply don't have anything like that over here! For many courses you must take pre-defined modules. For example, this year my course has 6 modules - They're all compulsory. I have to pass all of them to achieve my grade and move on to my third year. In the third year however, there are many modules and I have to choose a specific number (6 again I think) from them.

Hi Rob,

Thank you.

Benbacardi,
I read your profile, you are ahead of me. At least you are younger and working on your degree. I feel sort of old. lol
