Hello folks. New to PHP and new to this forum so be prepared for some dumb questions.

saxman (yes....I do play the saxaphone)

BTW...I have some websites that have comment sections. I would love your comments.

Very interesting, I also play saxophone. I play alto and soprano sax. Any way as far as your website goes....it needs a lot of work, but you are in the right place!!

Thank you...I play Alto and Tenor (The tenor is my fave but the alto is my old baby)

Thank you for the comments on the sites. I realize the websites need some work as they are works in progress.

I experimented with a few different layouts and am looking to add some php code to add functionality and make updates on some of the sites easier.

Yeah, a PHP content management system would do just that. This type of system would allow you to edit your website in a graphical interface, that way you don't have to mess with the code each and every time...unless you like messing with the code...lol
