Re: Hello All!

Yeah i run OS X, Ubuntu, XP Pro, X11 (xWindows: xFree86 4.4.0) on my macbook pro. Its a quirk I have. I wouldn't use XP at all if I didn't need it for certain things. Always glad to hear some one say they hate windows heh.

Redhat on my servers
Windows Xp on my deskop in combi with Mac Tigre

it's not really a hacked version I had a mac and installed Windows next too it.

Speed is ofcourse much better with the new Intel Core procesors

To be honest is Mac the system I almost never use.
Linux if I do surfing programing chatting movies text/spread etc.
Windows for apps I can't run on Linux

I don't really see the advantges of Mac , the only good point is that is looks nice

In a short periode I have tried it on my Orignal Windows Laptop, but I can't recomended that it's very bad almost no support.
so don't run the '' Hacked version"'

it's like going back to the stone ages

Re: Hello All!

That is what I hear. Apple made it damn hard to get Tiger running on non apple hardware. Lose loads of function and I believe many software packages won't run at all under the hacked version. And isn't Rosetta busted in the hacked releases too?

Re: Hello All!

Exactly...

For example Connecting to wireless network was impossible it gets dissconecting.
DVD write says it's not a DVD write anymore and can only burn CD's
stand by/Hibernate is dissabled . 3D accelarator is not enabled and so on so on
I like to fix things but this would take me ages to write Programs for all this to support it.
