remove redirection

its times wasting to see redirections after posting any threat

The redirection is extremely quick and, as we have explained many times, prevents outbound links posted by our users from being counted in Search Engines.

sirkent - are you talking about urls included in the posts?

because i think what expressweb is talking about is the fact that it says "You post has been added... please wait to return to forum" or whatever it says...

Yeah, and that is the page that submits the post into the database. So if we got rid of that we wouldn't/couldn't have any new posts at all .

We could possibly change that, but the wait is only minor and it exists mainly to tell the user whether or not the post was made successfully. I don't think it's a truly annoying feature though - I often hit submit and then go straight back in my browser to continue surfing the site.

yeah i agree with sirkent, i dont wait to be redirected i just see that my post has been confirmed then go back to reading the active topics

You can't remeove redirection, its something to read and it gives you options and blahblahblah, it looks plain, but who cares, you don't see it for very long...
