how do i get rid of this ?

in IE on my site if i hover over any image that isnt linked it comes up with this ::


is there any way to get rid of it ?

as far as i know, there is no way of getting rid of it, but i would suggest you ask your computer supplier, or someone else that knows more about computers, and see what they say.

It's just a feature of IE... they're options for what you want to do with the image you're hovering over... Whats the problem?

Yeah that is part of IE's way of being nothing to do with the image, only solution I think is to place an image with CSS and maybe then IE won't "recognize" it as an image.

Ok guys - pearls of wisdom.

IE only does it, for whatever reason, when the graphic is over a certain size.

You can turn the feature off in your browser but most users wont know how and could well be irritated by it being there.

You can however turn in off in your page coding.

Just add the following to your pages:
Code: Select all
<meta http-equiv="imagetoolbar" content="no" />
Only IE understands it.

i had to make the image bigger to fit how i wanted it to lol now iv changed it it loads real quik
