Alignment in IE

I am having major problems with IE6 the search option i am trying to add to www.opticexpress.co.uk it should look like it does in firefox but for some reason it is not settling as i want it to, we are using joomla if anyone could help because my brain is fried from looking at the site so much esp. this problem!

The link worked for me but I could not see a search box.

IMO it has two real immediate problems. As a fixed width site it is too wide as it does not fit in an 800px wide screen. Having to scroll horizontally is a real no-no.

In your drop-down menus, get your cursor on the border between two menu options and watch what happens.

Remove this from the start of your pages:
Code: Select all
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
It's not required and it thows IE into quirks mode.

Validate your page. W3C validation shows 36 errors.

on another not took the searchbar off earlier will be adding it again later but it was just doing my nut in
