make a pic in your graphics program then goto
http://www.html-kit.com/favicon/ and upload it they convert it into .ico for u then u just have to download the zip file and they have a read me file with the code u need to put on your site. only works in firefox tho for some reason

It doesn't only work in Firefox as stated above. It works in all browsers.
The problem with IE is that it only shows it if that web site is in your bookmarks.
