quicktime video in page....

Hi everyone,
In a website, in the html, i posted code for a quicktime video to automatically play on a page. Well the file size is a bit large, so you just see the quicktime logo for a while then it starts to play.... and it doesnt stream or show that loading/streaming bar that you see in other quicktime movies on sites such as quicktime.com (the movie trailers). Why is my mov file not showing the streambar..

how can I get some kind of loading/streaming bar to show??

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

-Allison

Re: quicktime video in page....

I'd imagine that these are settings within the person's own quicktime plugin or settings on your movie and not anything you can change in HTML.

I don't really have any experince
with quicktime delivery so I'm guessing but that seems logical to me... anyone else?

Re: quicktime video in page....

You embed the movie or whatever and can add something like <PARAM name="CONTROLLER" VALUE="true">. Quicktime Pro gives you all kinds of options for exporting, compressing etc... Well worth the $29.95 or whatever it is.

View this site for a complete reference of embed attributes.
