Frames and Indexing
How do you ensure that a whole page is listed as the search result in search engines rather than just the first (title) frame?
At the moment I have a site that lists on Google fine but the result goes to the title frame and not the page with frames as a whole. (Yes, I know frames are old hat but Im not being paid to redevelop the site  )Thanks in advance

Yeah frames are no bueno. They make it very difficult to index, they break navigation etc. As far as I know a frame based site will really hinder any chance you have of adequete search engine submission.

I learned the hard way, don't use frames, the only exception I ever make to this is if I'm showing external content on my webpage, like an RSS feed or something, then I'll put it into an iframe for ease. But I had to completely re-design a site built with frames, because Gogle only saw the content of the frames. If you're looking to be able to put things that look like frames on your page, try using css and making your div's overflow or something.

A quick search on a few search engine seems to reveal the only page its picking up is the homepage. This is hardly any use. And I had to search using the full URL as the search term. This site needs to drop the frames, urgently.

I stand by my decision to think frames are evil, sadistic, and generally mean. They should be dragged out into the street and beaten with burlap sacks full of rotten vegetables and dog poo.
