Re: bit of advice...

Nice graphic, took ages to download on my 1Mb connex.
Couldn't see part of it.
No code available to examine.

Size; use % instead of px.

Obvious mistake:

You're using frames. Don't.

Frames were ok 10 years ago but not anymore.

Re: bit of advice......

Simple semantic markup and clever CSS.

Look at these sites to get some idea of the way to do sites these days:
Lots and lots of people come on here and ask how they could make their sites better. A lot of the time the answer, as in this case, is learn more before you start...

Well in fairness he's had a go at it himself and not done too badly. Yeah minute44 is correct. The standard in web design these days is CSS. CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets and they allow you to define the way things appear on your webpages for example you can use one bit of code in css to make the fonts on all of your pages the same size, weight and alignment. The links above are perfect to learn from and I personally suggest http://www.csszengarden.com

CSSzengarden is ok but it's a real niche... Not much use to real world CSS design. The showcase sites like CSSmania and CSSbeauty are the ones where you can see real-world applications of this stuff.
