Help with understanding DOCTYPES in Dreamweaver!
I created a website in Dreamweaver MX using layers for displaying my images.
I have recently started to learn about DOCTYPES and validation. When I validate the pages from my root folder they are HTML 4.01 Transitional. To my surprise when I validated the uploaded pages on my server I noticed my website is a HTML 4.01 Frameset! and the view source for my website only shows a frameset? Have i done something really stupid in uploading my website? Could anybody tell why it uploaded as a framset? I heard it isnt good to use frames, and I definately didn't use frames to build mine! |

Re: Help with understanding DOCTYPES in Dreamweaver!
I don't see why it would change DOCTYPES like that, could it possibly be a human error?
