my new portfolio site problems....

Hi guys,
I am working on my new gallery site and I have having a few problems.
I'll be the first to admit that i am not a wed designer and I dont enjoy it either
but this is what I have made:

http://www.joshbare.com/index.html

Im having a few problems

- The links dont want to work in IE7 and in IE the background colour changes a bit. It all works fine in firefox from what I can see tho.
In the gallery pages the title seems to be a bit cockeyed in IE too.

Any thoughts would be great!!

Oh the reason the links dont want to work in IE7 is that IE7 blocks ActvieX and I had used that in dreamweaver to make the links fade in. Are there any other ways to do this that wont glitch, or should I stop it...

Any other comments on the look would be appreciated too =)

Thanks,
Josh

Nope, nothing is different in FF and IE!
What link are you talking about, the nav links?
