CSS Beauty.. Not so beautiful Code?
http://validator.w3.org/check?verbos...sbeauty.com%2F My pet hate is muppets that put HTML Valid on their site when it is not.. and one such as CSS Beauty not often checking their code after changes is laughable! Just thought I'd post as their contact will be getting a link to this page so they can defend their slackingness! Ta URL: http://www.cssbeauty.com/ Laughable at the fact they have "Web Standards" in their title.. however they do hit WAI-A! Last edited by minutedesigns; Jan 8th, 2008 at 11:10. |

Yup, Alex is right. If one tag isn't closed right, it screws up a whole lot more...

Do people not check their software AFTER adding it? Seems daft, 99% of my websites I check for HTML Validation on every single edit I make, even if its just the meta tags! Thats why third party apps and add-ons can seriously suck! |

Re: CSS Beauty.. Not so beautiful Code?
What's with the crusade against all of these sites? ....
As you posted above, you helped them out by advising their validation flaws and it is quite obviously an innocent error. Is there really a need to bring defame them in this public arena? I understand your dislike of such sites not validting but can you not deal with the site operators directly rather than slander them here at Webforumz. I for one am not interested in what sites in the world validate -- you could spend the rest of your life finding these websites because the XHTML valid logo is used very casually across the web..If someone asks me to critique their site and such a problem is seen I will advise and suggest they fix it quick smart but I would not go out of my way to "Validate the Web"...
