Page looks straight in IE, FireFox makes everything look crooked. Simple Fix?
Here is a simple web page I am doing for a customer:
http://www.hendersondefense.com The problem I am having is if you view the page in FireFox, as you click on the links in the menu bar, the pages seem to move slightly, and each individual page seems to be slightly "off". When I view the page in IE, everything looks fine as I toggle through the links. Also in Dreamweaver CS3, the program I used......everything appears to be perfectly in line also. It might be a small problem but it is bugging me. Is there a solution for this? Thanks -Joe |

It's shifting slightly because of the scroll bar on certain pages.

What do you mean? Is this something I can fix in Dreamweaver? Ive been messing with it all night and I fixed it a little bit. Again, everything seems perfectly straight in IE, but Firefox each page adjusts slightly

I've looked at y our code closely and really can't find anything different on any of the pages to make the nav shift up and down the way it is.
The one thing I would try is changing this line of code:
See if that stops the shifting. |

The shifting is because Firefox doesn't show scrollbars if the page isn't long enough to use them. Check this out:
