Graphics Not Appearing

I just created a layout using CSS, and I'm setting it up with fuzzylime, a CMS. I have a pretty good idea with what I'm doing, once I install fuzzylime, and edit the site settings it has an image that is suppose to load that's up a directory, such as ../images/blah.gif. But, the image doesn't load for me, on the laptop or the pc.
But, if I go to www.blah.com/images/blah.gif, and then go and reload the page the image shows, it shows after i visit the image directly.

It's wierd, and I don't understand it.
Any thoughts?

can you link to it like:

<img src="\image\blah.gif">

might work

You mean

I always get my slashes mixed up (aswell as forgetting my alt attribs)
