How do i make a log in script?

Hi,

ive got no idea what i need to do to make a log in script, so users can get into my site from the homepage, and i need to know how i can get people registerations info straight to a database (i dont have a database yet)

please help.

Do you know what language you will be using? You might want to checkout hotscripts for this. If you don't know what you are doing, you could open yourself up to some huge security holes.

If you are just starting our you may be better trying to create your website in phpnuke or dotnet nuke instead of trying to write scripts, etc. With dot net nuke there are free modules available to do just about anything. Oh and they are both free.

where can i get them from, oh, so far my site is in html and javascript, does that help?
