display problem with firefox

Hi everybody,
I'm constructing a small website for the people of my class and it's done for a little while. It works fine with ie, safari but i've got this problem on the left side with firefox and that's weird beacuse when i refresh the page the blank goes away.
here is the address of the page www.esstweb.com.
If anyone has a an idea I'll really appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance
Sebastien

Re: display problem with firefox

That is weird and I don't know the answer. Wild guess is some sort of Firefox bug. I disabled javascript and it disappeared again!

Since it's such a simple problem I'd just fix the appearance and let it go. Apparently Firefox is ignoring the order of layers and extending the text white box to the left edge. Just shorten the text box and center it, or pull it right, or something -- make the alignment the same as the inner edge of the outside box.

This will change the appearance of your page but I think you can make it look just as good with the quote shifted to the right a bit.

The other alternative, of course, is just don't worry about it. You could spend hours playing with a minor flaw that only a small % of visitors will see.

Start by getting it valid, then we can wonder what is up with the code: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ht...esstweb.com%2F

Is there a way that you could possibly reduce some of the tables being using? Less is usually better when it comes to tables
