.htpasswd query
Not sure where this belongs...
I've password protected a folder on a site: .htpasswd is hidden, and .htaccess is in the folder concerned. Sure enough, the login box pops up when trying to access the folder. However, if the site is left and then returned to, access is automatic without the login box. Is this something to do with Swiftfox, or a glitch in the method chosen? Cheers No problem, it's a session thing. Last edited by matelot; Jul 3rd, 2007 at 15:36. |

Re: .htpasswd query
Yeah, also if your using IE6 when doing this it will automatically save login information for ftp access and log you in automatically, so watch for that as well.
