Help with HTML

I have been working on my drop-menus using html and inserting the codes as I go. I got a menu to work properly and then used that one to do 3 others on the same page. However, when I went to save the page as a new page so I just renamed the buttons, it doesn't seem to work. I have looked at my code as closely as I know how, but I do not see what is going wrong. I get an "Error" msg when I go to preview. It says the error is on line 90, but when I check that line against my working menu and page, I see that it is the same code:
<p>&nbsp;</p>
What do you think is going wrong with my new page? Can I not save a page like that in FP2003 and just rename and save new buttons? I did not overwrite the buttons, but saved as new names.
Also, when I put the links to my interactive buttons on the page the was working properly, it made my buttons do the disappearing act - they flash on/off when you cursor over the main button. Why did that happen and what can I do to fix it?
Thanks for your help.

Re: Help with HTML

What we need is a link to the site or for you to post your code. We can then look into it in detail and maybe find the problem.

Re: Help with HTML

I'll repeat what I just said to another member this morning

PLEASE READ: How and When to post your question!

3. Provide a link. If you don't have hosting setup yet, there are plenty of Free Hosting providers out there. A popular, no hassle choice is Freewebs.
4. If you have code you would like to post, please put it in [ code ]... [ /code ] tags!

I strongly suggest you stop using Front page to create you website. There are better HTML Editors out there. WYSIWYG editors like Front page tend to generate non-standard code. And therefore result in your site not looking very good in all major browsers like IE(6 & 7), Firefox, Opera, Safari, etc...

Using Dreamweaver and the likes

I know I'm probably doing it the hard way, but my boss wants it done in FP2003, so I have to learn what I have to learn in order to make an updated web site. What am I missing in the html code to put this is working order?

Sorry I don't understand the question... can you simplify the question a bit?

Re: Help with HTML

My question is how do I correct the html code in order to make drop menus work. I have tried comparing the code to my page that is working and it looks the same as my page that is not working. I have even tried creating a fresh new page and starting over but I still have the same problem: the menus will not stay open once they drop down.

Re: Help with HTML

Try using this one instead ... no Javascript required ... ALL CSS

A cross-browser drop-down cascading validating menu
