Just wondering if anyone knows how to insert a MP3 file into a site and have it play when the site is opened.

can you not just use <bgsound src="your_sound.mp3" loop=1> don't know if it works in netscape though

loading music files as a background isnt a too good idea, for one compatability, second of all the time it takes to download, and you can switch it off if you wanted to.

but the code snippet will work fine for IE....netscape no. as for ff....no idea

I have tried making a flash player for the music but it didnt turn out so well.

you can use the embedd function and use the media player's start / play functions.:wink:

k i will fool around with that... I tried it before but I couldnt get the music to even play in the first place and I would click on a symbol I made to make it into a play button and it owuldnt let me.
