Presenting product

Hi

Hope this is in the right section, i'm not sure. I am in the throws of designing a website for a watercolour artist.

http://uk.geocities.com/johnson463@btinternet.com/westcountry.html

The link above displays one of the gallerys. From here I would like the user to be able to click a thumbnail and go to a page with an enlarged image and all the paypal "add to basket" type stuff.

Do I have to do a different HTML page for each image or is there a better way to present the enlarged images?

Re: Presenting product

Yes if you want to add a description such as size of artwork, cost, paypal buy button, you will need another html page for each item! Bummer huh?

Re: Presenting product

Or.....How about I put the paypal button and description underneath the small thumbnails and let users look at the larger image using this:

Re: Presenting product

you'll have a lot of images to download, which might slow your site down. You will also only be able to add a short description to each image.

But if your client is happy with that approach then go for it.
