go to www.webmonkey.com and look for HTML. It'll tell you everything you need to know about it. Then you can check out other websites when you are ready for them.

another good website is www.w3schools.com. if u wanna learn both HTML and XHTML, learn html and then XHTML because XHTML is basically identical but with 'tidier' code
