How to eliminate the end extension in the address bar?

I use Dreamweaver for my sites. The pages all end in .html, of course, but I want to direct users to a page without showing that ".html". For example, "www.mysite.com/infopage.html" is what I can type into a browser to bypass the index and go straight to infopage. I want a user to be able to type into the browser bar: "www.mysite.com/infopage"

Can anyone tell me how to do that?

Thanks!

LO

make a different directory on your server? if you were going to do that inside the directory ("infopage") you would need to put an index page, for the page that you wish to display. Hope that helps.

Yeah, if you use a directory like I do, you can create a folder called "about-us" or whatever and then add the index HTML file.
