I would like to create a drop navigational menu such as the one on this site ...

Try http://www.dynamicdrive.com/ but remember that these scripts do not always work in all browsers and can sometimes be annoying for visitors.

I know you've got it all sorted out, but if in the future you want to make the same menu, but have it accessible and very attractive to search engine spiders, do it all with CSS
