Help with photo's
Hi everyone, first post
Im maing a website for someone and im all clear on that, but there is a problem i dont even know where to start with. THe person I am making the site for wants to update their photos on a daily basis. Rather than them having to change them by going into dreamweaver and swapping them, now could they do it. I was thinking along the lines of a script that i add that they can log in and change various photos. I hope this all makes sence, if it doesnt il rephrase it all. If anyone has any links to tutorials or scripts or something i can use, i would be very greateful Josh |

Re: Help with photo's
What you want is an admin section that the can log into.
You'll need to use a server-side language like PHP, ASP (.NET) or Perl. Check with your host which they support. I recommend PHP since it's quite easy to learn. There are tons of scripts out there. Have a look at Joe2torials.com for some. |

Re: Help with photo's
you can also use adobe contribute its really good and you dont have to worry about them messing with the design. http://www.adobe.com/products/contribute/
its the best thing out there. alittle pricy but if thats what the guy wants then thats what the guy wants. |

So you can download this software and use it over and over, cos then it becomes an investment, and then becomes less pricey
Thanks ill look into it a bit more before splashing out £100 |

Re: Help with photo's
to me if your going to be using it over and over then yeah go for it. its the easiest and safest way to do what you want without having to worry about coding or anything of that nature.
