ampersand different in firefox

Hi,
in order to have an ampersand appear within text i use &amp as in "B&ampB"
this appears as 'B&B' in IE but 'B&ampB' in FF.
has anyone got an idea to fix this?

I've fixed it, I left out the semi-colon.

Ryan is an &. But don't feel bad, this one time in band camp.. I forgot to upload my css file and spent an hour trying to figure out why it wasn't working. We all have those moments of true glory.

I just did that the other day. I was saving my CSS file to the server, but I had two of the same file open for some reason and was accidently switching back and forth. It was so frustrating fixing something and then having it break again next time I fixed something else...
