Creating Graphics from HTML
Does anyone know if it is possible/how to create an image from HTML output automatically? Basically I'm generating an HTML table to represent a timetable - I then want clients to be able to download the generated table as a GIF or whatever...
If it can't be done, any other suggestions for automatically creating the image would be very welcome!

PHP etc can convert things into gifs and stuff. i.e. text, add effects blah blah blah using ImageMagik. Also can output PDF's.

I recommend PHP as well. While it's not the easiest thing in the world, it's quite flexible.

ack, no luck - the client's servers use J2EE and I've developed the rest of the application using Java technology - I'll just have to see if there's anything handy in the API
