HTML or DHTML?
I was wondering if anyone here can help me out. The diffuculty Im having is imbeding a text field that can change without replacing the whole page. It's bit dynamic I suppose. Not sure which angle I have to attack this task from... I've seen some sites that does this, but I can't seem to remeber which site... Any help would help me greatly!. Thanks in advance.

I don't know what you're talking about. But HTML and DHTML are two different things. HTML is a markup language. HyperText Markup Language. However, DHTML is dynamic html. DHTML is not a defined standard ( not defined by W3C ) but its basic meaning is a collection of technologies, such as ECMAscript, XHTML/HTML, Cascading Style Sheets, Scripting and the DOM ( Document Object Model ). DHTML is not a new technology or a new scripting language whatsoever. Its a collection of technologies. In other works, its just geek talk, pure terminology!
One more thing! and I would appreciate you using another avatar |

I presume what you're trying to do is to change the contents/value of a text box in regular intervals when someone is visiting a page? |
