If you have specific questions about either program go ahead and ask, someone will try to help out.

I don't think many of us use Photo Impact to be brutally honest, because it doesn't do the job as well as Photoshop when it comes to professional design - although I'm sure many programs can do a lot of basic and intermediate graphic design projects.

Dreamweaver is different - It's the market leader and I think a lot of people on these forums, including myself, use it.

Well, my question about PI is this: I want to convert a text image into a flash file. How do I do it?

Thanks!

By the way, I am also trying to remember about DW...I used a few times in the past, and was very impressed. then stopped using it, and pretty much forgot everything about it.

Ok, I think it's fairly unlikely that you'll be able to convert anything in PI into flash. If you have flash, then you can always import pictures of many sorts such as bmp, jpg, png, gif, etc.

I'm also slightly confused as to what a text image is? Text as an image?

Well one thing about Dreamweaver is that if you have 2 hours and have already done it before, you should remember just about everything after the 2 hours. You might even learn something!!! Dreamweaver is one of those you just gotta play around with it until you are stuck. Once you get stuck post here and one of us will be there for ya.
