I've tried and tried and failed miserably!

Hi can anyone here help.
I have been trying for what seems like months to collect information in a certain way from a holiday search engine within my web site. (http://www.take-off-online.com)
I don't know what sort of script to run or anything.
I am trying to gather the information for certain airports only from this engine. ie if a visitor clicked on "Cyprus" on the main page the engine would send back all holidays within the next x amount of weeks on the result page.
See told you I don't know what I'm talking about. Best to give you another site to view so you can see what I mean. Please see (http://www.premierexceltravel.co.uk) On Ginas front page you will see a list that when you click it you will get a list of the available holidays.
Can you tell me how to do this.
I assume if I could do one - the other codes would be the same.
Also would this be the same if it was done for airport codes in the UK eg GLA LHR LGW (Glasgow, London Heathrow, London Gatwick) etc?
Please help someone as it is driving me nuts!!??:
Ta in advance

Lynda

To do what you want you'll need to do some programming in a server-side language, or have someone do it for you. ASP, PHP, JSP, ASP.NET - any of those would do what you want.

Someone who already knows one of those should be able to do it fairly easily. If you're looking to do it yourself you'll have to learn one of those first.

Hi Smokie
Yes I have a database, but all the information is stored in the external site (http://tawl.holidays.co.uk) This site uses the three letter airport codes both in the UK and worldwide - so if I was brighter - I should be able to get the information from there.
eg All hiolidays departing Glasgow (GLA) within the next 42 days
OR
All holidays to Tenerife (TFS) departing in the next 42 days
Hope this makes sense to you. It would definately help if I new what I was asking you for eh?
If you look at Premier Excels site - see above - and click on one of the destinations you will see the information that you get back from the tawl site.
Thanks again

Imalia, it would be fairly challenging to write a script to gather the data from the page like that. It can be done, but it would not be easy to learn if you have no previous programming experience. It would also command quite a high fee I feel...

Although I can't check that because the link you gave is dead..?

Its fairly simple, just make links and change the values in the URL for each link, below for example you could change the airport code and change the departure dates in the URL below then use that as a link on your site etc etc.

http://tawl.holiday.co.uk/Level1/Lev...s=0&MaxPrice=0

Hope that makes sense?

Also, have they given you your own "Website GUID", because it looks like this is used to track referals, if you leave it how it is (in the URL above) then someone else might get paid for selling a flight instead of you. Just a thought!
