HTML 4.01 test fail cos of flash
Hi all I have a annoying problem every time i run the w3.org HTML 4.01 test I fail and the only errors found are these...
Line 16, column 72: element "EMBED" undefined (explain...). ...swf" autostart="true" height="22" width="100"></embed> Under the error look up it says... “element ‘FOO’ undefined” You've used an unknown tag (represented here by ‘FOO’). Make sure the DTD indicated by your DOCTYPE actually includes this element. If the tag in question is a frame-related tag you must use the "Frameset" DTD, and if you use (deprecated) physical markup ("FONT" and friends) you must use the "Transitional" DTD. SO HOW DO I INCLUDE FLASH IF THE TAG DON'T EXSIST !!!!!!!!!! Heres the page doc type tag incase <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"> Thanks all Sam Lad |

I assume there's another DOC type when you include flash?
But to be honest, who cares? It'll work in every browser you throw it at... |
