Help with Header

I have a clansite up and i want my header to be autosized and the same width as the body. Here is the part of the code i think i need to change. I have messed with it a little with no success. I am a newb so bare with me the site is http://sin.ledpellet.com If you notice looking at it there is a gray area to the right at higher resolutions and at lower ones you are forced to scroll..As you can see this is neither what i want nor what i think a view wants. Ty Ledpellet

<table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2">
<tr>
<td bgcolor="#000000"><table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="2" cellpadding="0">
<tr>
<td bgcolor="#212121"><table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
<tr>
<td width="60%" height="85"><center><a href="index.php"><img src="themes/WFBlack/images/logo.gif" border="0" alt="$sitename"></a></center></td>

</tr>
</table></td>
</tr>

Re: Help with Header.php

Ledpellet, this is the wrong forum -- this is the PHP forum. Post your question in the html forum and you're more likely to get an answer.

Re: Help with Header.php

as masonbarge says even though your are experiencing a problem with the header in php you need to duplicate this thread in the html forum to get a wider, and possible more accurate, answer to your problem.

Re: Help with Header.php

It's actually not a php header he's talking about, it's the html "header" div (or actually I think a tr or th). It would be a css problem except for one little detail.

Re: Help with Header.php

Do not post this twice; I will move the thread instead.

Note: Next time something is posted in the wrong forum, use the repost button, and in the description area, say...

"Wrong Forum...Should be in _______forum."

Thanks!!

Re: Help with Header

You need both JavaScript and PHP to do this properly. You can use JavaScript to get the width of the browser and send the variables to PHP to render an image.
