Cheap domain registration

Where can I get cheap domain registration? Somewhere around 6$ a year. I found some cheap places, but none of them offer pay pal. And sometimes I don't find this out until after I fill out the forms and it's getting tiring.

I use Godaddy, they're awesome! All the features you need for 8 bucks a year. It's cheaper than 1&1 anyway...

Re: Cheap domain registration

I'd also rather go with GoDaddy than with 1and1 - the sites I have are built with and hosted at SiteKreator (as it doesn't require any coding on user's end) and domains are registered with Godaddy. This pattern seems to work just fine (don't know why but 1and1 do not seem that user friendly to me).

Godaddy is great! Some simple words of wisdom, don't get caught up with registerfly! Its a world of a mess right now and they are still taking customers.

Re: Cheap domain registration

Registerfly is in the process of getting deregistered by ICANN at the moment so we'll see how it goes with those guys. Personally I've never used them because I trust GoDaddy who I've been using for years now.

Re: Cheap domain registration

Yeah, I have personally used registerfly. I signed up about 3 or 4 years ago to try them out and they seemed fine as i didnt need to call customer support for anything. Once i had to call in for support thats when i realized that they sucked. I have been working my way out for the past year getting my important names out. Sadly I have some names that have about 5 years left that i dont want want to renew or pay a transfer fee on so it caused me some tough decisions.
