downloads library

What is the sense of downloads library that many web hosting companies provide? Has anybody used them already?
Say MMHosting.com provide this service and I don't know if I need to download it on my PC.

They just offer you them to save you going to the original site... plus they can advertise that they have a "downloads library".

Re: downloads library

I guess their download library are the sum of the scripts a host offers, they have already been installed on the server and you can use whatever you want, that's offered on any basic shared Cpanel plan. If the scripts are not installed, Fantastico can help you to install the script you need with one click.

Re: downloads library

This offer from MMhosting.com will save your time significantly. You don't need to go elsewhere in search of necessary scripts to download. That's a nice feature that not all companies offer.

Re: downloads library

Thata's what's offered by default, some hosts underline this, but I guess that may seem impressive for noobs only, others say absolutely nothing, say simplehelix.com who are one of the best magento hosts say nothing about this application on their site.

Re: downloads library

I think the script library from MMHosting.com is one more advantage to become the client of this hosting company.
In any way their services are cheap with so many resourceful features that anyone's requirements will be satisfied.
