Re: Which Free Host?
edit, just add, i dont mean this to sound like a begging post or anything, i am not asking for free hosting of anybody or free domain names, once i have the site up and running i have no objection at all as to spending money on domains and hosting, i was jw about free hosting to check everything is working ok and to look at browser compatability
thanks again

Re: Which Free Host?
You do know you can get hosting for like £1 a month? It's not exactly expensive.
Freewebs are great but I dont think they support server technology like PHP. I'd gladly host your website for you but my DNS doesn't work and my server is hardly ever on

Re: Which Free Host?

Re: Which Free Host?
I had a free host that gave you 100mb a month (HA) but you only had to link to them on your homepage.
If you want a free host, there are going to be ads unless your willing to pay as little as £1. Likewise with domain names, you can have some crappy one for free which google will never index or you can pay £2 and have a ".co.uk".

Re: Which Free Host?
i see your point, i think while i am still sorting out a few issues with the site i will stay on the free host. when it comes to going properly online i will definetly spend money on the domain name and have had a few offers from fellow members concerning hosting
thanks for your time, il mark this as solved now
